Maybe that is true. Coaches really don’t have much opportunity to significantly change a player’s game, because that would mean time off from the tour. They can be helpful with strategy and focus. And they can be a calming influence which can help with stress issues. The bottom line is that if the player thinks that the coach helps him or her, then they do.
